July 2011 Favorites!

Hey everyone! These are my July 2011 monthly favorites! Some are repeats from last month but its only because I love them so much and im still using them on a daily basis. I hope you like everything ive chosen for my favorites and i cant wait to see everyone elses!
Search the my beauty blog or luuux page for individual reviews on each product.
AVON 12-in-1 Eyeshadow Palette
This palette has 12 beautiful shimmery/metallic shades (but none with full on glitter) and NO matte shades. It has a great shade range and even has 3 dupes for Urban Decay eyeshadows in it! Ive been using it a lot since i purchased it a couple weeks back.
Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation
I love this foundation! It has a beautifully whipped texture and the cap has a wand attached so you can get the product out easier. Its about $3 per bottle which is super cheap, it has a great finishes, blends perfectly, and is super light weight!
LUSH Honey I Washed The Kids Perfume
Holy COW this stuff is amazing! I love anything from LUSH that has the Honey I Washed The Kids scent (scoop, massage bars, bath bombs, etc) but this perfume tops them all. Its definitely VERY sweet and seductive but natural at the same time. Its like slathering yourself in honey and chocolate. Mmmm.
E.L.F. Matte Lip Color in Natural
Thanks to the lovely Holly Ann i finally got to try this product and it quickly ended up being my all-time favorite lip color! It glides on smooth, doesn't dry out my lips, and looks very, very natural on me. Great product!
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Bronzer
Another awesome product from Holly Ann! This is a super light bronzer w/ a cute little pink blush heart and it smells awesome! It has a light floral scent that i love and the finish is very silky and pretty.
AVON Nail Experts Cuticle Balm
I have a few favorite cuticles creams/balms but i have been using this one more than others for some reason lately. It has a light floral/lavendar-ish scent, its incredible creamy but never greasy, and absorbs quickly. My only complaint is that the lid is super hard to get off :(
E.L.F Coral Nail Polish
Hellooo this is so gorgeous! This was given to me by Crystal Nichols in a giveaway she held recently and i absolutely adore it! Its a peachy-pink polish with golden shimmer and its perfect for Summer. Not to mention its only $1 and is opaque in almost 1 coat.
Essie Marshmallow
Finding a good white polish is so hard! They're usually very chalky and harsh looking but Marshmallow is not like that at all. It has a soft glow and even thought it takes about 3 coats to be opaque its totally worth it! Such a beautiful white polish :)
Scunci No-Slip Grip Clear Rubber Hairbands
These are rubber/silicone-like and definitely not your typical hair band. They're super sturdy and stiff but once you get them on they do NOT slip or loosen at all. These will hold a pony tail or bun ALL day long - seriously. They do come in other shades but my only complaint is that removing them hurts :( If you're not careful they can tug on hair.
Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Penetrating OIl
I am in love with all three of these products. I have thick hair w/ oily roots and dry ends but this line totally controls every aspect of my hair and makes it super smooth, silky, and shiny without being greasy or heavy. Deifnitely the best hair products i have ever used! I would recommend them to anyone! :)

June 2011 Favorite's

Ok everyone, here are my June 2011 Beauty Favorites! I compiled a list of several of the products i have used constantly and with a lot of frequency this past month and i'll quickly explain why i love each of them. Click the red links for information on the products and a lengthier review on my Luuux page.
I have been wearing this everyday since i bought it in early June. I really wanted the perfume but it was sold out so i bought the body mist instead. The scent is very floral & fruity and just heavenly! Perfect for summer.
I just reviewed this yesterday but ive had it for a few weeks. I use it a couple different ways: 1) As a base under my foundation, and 2) By itself for sheer coverage that evens out skin tone.
I am soo glad i did this! It ended up being the PERFECT shade for me. This is a mixed foudnation i personally did for myself when i couldn't find the right foundation shade and had 1 that was light, and 1 that was too dark. This is ½ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Ivory, and ½ L'Oreal TrueMatch in Porcelaine.
4. E.L.F. Makeup Mist & Set
I use this stuff a few different ways. 1) To set my makeup and control oil, 2) Sprayed lightly onto a sponge or brush prior to applying foundation to give that "dewey" effect, and 3) To apply shadows wet by spraying this onto my finger or a brush then swiping into the eyeshadow.
Holy wow i love this for removing makeup! Its creamy, gentle, and effective. It removers even the most stubborn waterproof eye makeup and leaves skin feeling soft and supple. Definitely a must-have from now on.
Im always leery about trying new face moisturizers because i have combination-oily skin which is acne prone and sometimes new products can really irritate me. However, this does wonderful at balancing my dry & oily spots at the same time, while moisturizing, and controlling oil and shine too.
This is the most subtle/light bronzer i have found lately. Because i'm so fair its hard to get a bronzer that doesn't look fake, but this definitely gives a natural bronzey-tan look to fair skin like mine. Its not too dark and it has SPF 15 for added protection. Love it!
8. CoverGirl Pressed Powder in Buff Beige
I haven't done a review on this yet because it's basically just your typical pressed powder. I use my Ecotools Duo-Fibre Finishing Kabuki brush to apply this powder over top of my foundation to set it and buff out any lines or unevenness.
OMG i absolutely adore this palette! I have used it nearly every day since buying it. Its literally perfect for that summer bronzed goddess eye look and it goes with many skin tones. I have created 3 different looks so far with this and im just obsessed with this palette.
Best concealers i have ever used!! They dry super fast, don't budge, and give 100% full opaque coverage all day long. The soft green is perfect for covering redness and/or blemishes, and the skin tone is great for under eyes and everything else.
11. My Favorite Lip Combo - WnW Bare it All -&- NYC Nude York City
This is like the perfect nude lip combo for me. I used Wet N Wild Bare It All lipstick which has a matte finish, and apply NYC Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City very sheer ontop of it. It gives me a beautiful nude lip that goes with any look.
This lip gloss is soooooo moisturizing! It immediately makes my lips super smooth and silky plus it smells/tastes exactly like the soda Coca Cola. Very yummy.
This mascara is amazing. It lengthens, separates, AND volumes really well. It's new to drugstores and isn't too pricey. Definitely a mascara i have used ALOT since purchasing, its great.
Thats it! I hope you enjoyed my post and my favorites for this past month. I use a lot of these on a daily basis and they are definitely staples for me now, especially for Summer. Thanks for reading. Please comment, like and follow! Photos are mine, do not use :)

Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Score: $17

This is also a peachy-pink blush but slightly lighter than NARS Deep Throat. For full review & swatches go here: http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/urban-decay-afterglow-blush-score?blog_id=56465

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Soothing Lip Balm in Pretty Buff: $7
This cooling & soothing balm is so worth the money! There is TONS of product in this little tin and i can imagine this balm lasting be several months, if not over 1 year for me. It glides on smooth, cools and moisturizes lips, and has a hint of shimmer too! Definitely worth a try.
